Kimberly Villarreal
Kimberly has a Master of Arts in Clinical Counseling from Wayland Baptist University. Other degrees include a bachelor’s in science with a specialization in Psychology.
Kimberly has worked in a wide array of institutions from psychiatric hospitals to nonprofit organizations within the mental health field for the past 7 years. She has worked with at-risk adults and at-risk adolescents that come from culturally diverse backgrounds. She uses her experience to help clients the best way possible with a treatment plan tailored to them and their needs.
A major focus in her work has been managing persistent mental health symptoms and diagnosis to include anxiety, depression, anger, substance use, trauma, women wellbeing, and medication management for adolescents (13-17 years old), adults, couples, and women. Her primary work is done through individual, couples, and group therapy. What is important for Kim if to help people create strong and meaningful relationships with self and others.
