Keyla Cadena, LPC

Keyla S. Cadena is a Licensed Professional Counselor with a strong commitment to helping clients navigate life’s challenges with resilience and self-compassion.

She earned her Bachelor of Science in Communication Science and Disorders in 2016 and her Master of Science in Clinical Rehabilitation Counseling in 2020, both from the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley.

Keyla works with teens (15–17), young adults, and adults, offering support through difficult transitions, emotional distress, and chronic conditions. Her areas of expertise include depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), chronic pain, sleep disturbances, and physical disabilities, as well as vocational challenges and adjustment issues.

Using a blended approach of cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and person-centered care, Keyla helps clients identify and change unhelpful patterns, improve self-care, and strengthen emotional well-being. She believes each person has the capacity to grow through adversity and make empowered choices that support healing and lasting change.

Keyla is bilingual in English and Spanish and dedicated to creating a welcoming, inclusive, and culturally sensitive space for individuals from all walks of life.

Whether in-person or through virtual sessions, she tailors her approach to meet each client’s unique needs—guiding them toward clarity, connection, and personal growth.
