Genesis G. Lezama

Genesis G. Lezama is a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor, and Licensed Professional Counselor Associate, supervised by Blanca Robles, LPC-S. Ms. Lezama has a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science and a master’s degree in Clinical Rehabilitation Counseling, both from the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley in Edinburg, TX.

Presently, Genesis serves through individual, family, and group counseling, adolescents ages 13-17, college students, and adults.  Genesis has found passion in teaching others to become self-advocates and self-sufficient, while addressing their mental well-being.  She strives to promote independence, happiness, and a functional life for all individuals. She believes anyone can reach their full potential with the right help.

Her areas of expertise include working with people with disabilities who are facing disability adjustment challenges, depression, anxiety, trauma, anger, grief, self-esteem, balancing life transitions, adapting to changes, vocational counseling, communication, relationship issues, and advocacy skills development. Counseling is available in-person or virtually. Bilingual counseling is offered in English and Spanish.
