Alexandro Alvarado, LPC-Associate, supervised by Alaina Hinojosa, LPC-S, is a therapist committed to creating a warm, respectful, and judgment-free environment where clients can openly explore their experiences and work toward meaningful change. 

He earned his Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley in 2021 and his Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from Texas A&M University–Kingsville in 2025.

Alexandro's counseling style is collaborative and genuine, balancing warmth, authenticity, humor, and appropriate challenge to make the therapeutic process feel approachable and purposeful.

Alexandro works with adolescents, young adults, and adults, with a particular passion for supporting men, teens, and young adults who may feel hesitant about seeking therapy. His clinical areas of focus include anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, life transitions, academic and career-related stress, relationship difficulties, and dissociative concerns. Alexandro’s previous experience at Tropical Texas Behavioral Health included working with individuals experiencing severe mental health concerns and crisis situations. 

He incorporates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Person-Centered Therapy, and mindfulness-based interventions, tailoring his approach to each client’s individual needs and goals.

Whether you are facing a difficult transition, struggling with your emotional well-being, or simply trying to better understand yourself, he is committed to meeting you where you are and helping you build the insight, skills, and confidence to move forward.
