Lili Montemayor, LPC Associate

Liliana (Lili) Montemayor, LPC-Associate, supervised by Alaina Hinojosa, LPC-Supervisor is dedicated to providing compassionate, trauma-informed, and client-centered care.

She earned her Bachelor of Liberal Arts in Psychology from the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley in 2021 and her Master of Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Lamar University in 2024.

Lili works with teens (ages 15–17), adults, and families, supporting clients through a variety of challenges. Her clinical areas of focus include trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, substance use, pain management, life transitions, and relationship difficulties.

She understands that reaching out for support can be difficult, and she strives to create a welcoming, nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard, understood, and supported throughout their healing journey.

Her therapeutic approach integrates evidence-based practices such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) techniques (currently completing advanced training toward full certification), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Mindfulness-Based interventions.

These approaches help clients process difficult experiences, strengthen emotional regulation, reduce the impact of trauma, and develop healthier coping skills that can be applied in everyday life.

Whether someone is healing from past trauma, adjusting to a major life change, or seeking greater emotional well-being, Lili is committed to walking alongside them with empathy, authenticity, and practical support every step of the way.
